Supra cheers to Coopers Success

Ride Australia (Manufacturer of Supra Boats and Moomba Boats in Australia) attended the Annual Lean and TPM forum in Wollongong organised by CPTM to celebrates Ride Australia’s 3rd successful year in boat manufacturing and Coopers Brewing Company 150th year in Brewing.

CTPM have been involved in Lean Manufacturing and TPM training all over the Asian Pacific for many years and invited Ride Australia and Coopers Brewing to participate in the event with the success of more than 80 plus improvement teams complete combind over the past years.

"When looking back at where we have come from with these teams, we are just a total different company than what were before TMP" Mr Sterenberg - Operations manager of Coopers Brewing

"We spent 6 months at our USA sister company learning the lean philosophies which were so helpful in setting up our factory in Australia 4 years ago, it's awesome to be able to continue on with CTPM and continuously improve our production methods with a training partner in Australia" - Josh Sanders - General Manager Ride Australia.

TPM is a maintenance process developed for improving productivity by making processes more reliable and less wasteful.

"Lean," is a production practice that considers the expenditure of resources for any goal other than the creation of value for the end customer to be wasteful, and thus a target for elimination.

Since the opening of Ride Australias factory in Australia in 2009, Ride Australia has increased efficiencies by 400% and has reduced defect rates to less than a %.
